Purpose of Leadership
The purpose of the annual Leadership Conference is to provide training to local chapter officers. Each chapter is encouraged to send a student officer team to this interactive, hands-on leadership conference. Focus Training will provide keynote presentations and leadership development workshops for students.

All students, advisors, observers, and attendees must be registered in the national registration system.
Ensure you are registering all attendees for the “Nevada Fall Leadership Conference.”
This area lists and identifies all of your school’s registered participants, which include secondary and postsecondary contestants, advisors, student observers, delegates and state officer candidates. Register all advisors that will be attending.
ALL ADVISORS/SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS/CHAPERONES MUST BE REGISTERED ON THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION SYSTEM WEBSITE.

(Please designate one person from each school to enter registration for the Fall Leadership Conference)
Go to http://www.skillsusa-register.org/Login.aspx for registration. After you have created an account – log in.
All student participants, teachers, administrators and other attendees must register to participate.

Personal Liability, Medical Release, Code of Conduct & Photography/Sound Release (Form D)
A Personal Liability, Medical Release, Code of Conduct, and Photography/Sound Release form (Form D) must be completed by each participant, advisors included. Please review the code of conduct and photo/sound release (back side of the form) with all students. Their signature on the liability form indicates they agree to the provisions outlined in code of conduct and photo/sound release.
Dress Code
The dress code for this year’s conference is:
- SkillsUSA Official Attire
- SkillsUSA Polo and black or khaki pants.
- Business Casual: Black or Khaki Pants, polo or dress shirt without logos.
All students and advisors are expected to follow the dress code.

Our host hotel, Sunset Station Hotel & Casino, has a room block set aside for SkillsUSA Nevada.
